Maggie holds a BFA in Acting from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained at The Experimental Theatre Wing and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. Her background is diverse and ranges from musical to physical theatre, having studied with Amsterdam-based commedia company Troupe Courage and in Suzuki and Viewpoints with SITI Company.
Inspired by these trainings, her own work is driven by collaboration and champions process over product — always with the endgame of giving voice to complex female characters. Favorite previous writing credits include her play “STALLING: a 1981 Christmas party” and a short-form comedic television series, “BAD”.
Her core tenet is fun. She strives to follow her joy wherever it may lead and is committed to sharing it with others, through theatre, travel or otherwise.
Maggie is also a bartender, Libra, black coffee-drinker, and devoted Fleabag re-watcher.
